About Mendo Maps

Brought to you by The Mendocino Voice

Mendo Maps is a special project created by The Mendocino Voice, an online news service covering all of Mendocino County, thanks to a Renewing Democracy grant from the Solutions Journalism Network.

This online resource is designed to better connect Mendocino County residents with essential information about the place they live: local government and services, land and zoning designations, key infrastructure, and more. After years of reporting on local government, we saw a need to provide residents with information about their local services, and ways to get involved.

As this project develops, we’ll be adding additional information about the different government agencies and organizations that shape our life here in Mendocino, and information about how to get involved with local decision-making. We will also be included relevant news articles about current developments in local government.  But in order to do that, we need your support.  You can also support this project and our ongoing work financially here, or get in touch if you want to volunteer, or are interested in becoming an organizational partner.

We’d love to hear from you — please get in touch if you have suggestions, corrections, contributions, and questions at [email protected].
